Maisy mouse is full of life bouncing very high on her trampoline until “oh no! Maisy fell, she hurt her leg. Poor Maisy!” Maisy finds herself on the way to hospital accompanied by her friend Charley and Maisy had never been to hospital before. Doctor Duck told Maisy she had to have an X-ray which showed Maisy had broken her leg. Next, Doctor Duck plastered her leg and said “you’ll need to stay in hospital tonight.” Maisy felt strange to be away from home and missed her friends. Dotty, donkey, was in the opposite bed, they became friends and the next morning during visiting hours Tallulah and Cyril arrived bringing balloons, flowers and cakes. Tallulah signed Maisy’s plaster cast and Nurse Comfort showed her how to walk with crutches. When Charley arrived to take Maisy home they said to her new friend “Goodbye, Dotty” and “Get well soon!”
